If i leave my xps for about 10 or more minutes without touching any keys or mouse it hibernates or something like that. Im downloading with utorrent and want the xps to continue downloading and not hibernate (causing wifi to disconnet)
    How do i do that?

Another question: what media direct for??

Change your power settings so that it doesn't go into hibernation, use a screensaver and turn your brightness down instead if you're concerned about battery.

Media direct is the dell program that enables you to use music and documents without actually booting up your PC. Press the media-direct button on the left of your mediabuttons at the top of the keyboard when the computer is off to browse and use these functions.

well, just to watch movies and listen to music and browse through all your pictures without actually 'turning on' the computer and all the background services that start running?

Yeah, it just starts running a lot faster, so for instance if you're on a plane flight and just want to listen to music on your computer it's easier to start. Same goes for giving presentations and slideshows and such.
