Hey every one, i got with my xps the 90w adapter. its very bulky and heavy, and it kind of ruins my reason that i bought the xps m1330 for its portability.
I’m interested at buying another adapter, one i could carry around and doesn’t occupy the rest of my bag.
i wanted to buy the slim travel version 65w but than i saw the price 80$ (no thanks).
what’s the best lighter version of 65w adapter i can buy.
the version i have now is PA-10 Family Rev A04. and its awful! the power cords are too short for me, it’s really annoying!
    thanks,
    Daphne.

You can phone them up and exchange the 90 watt for their regular 65 watt. Otherwise, you are looking at other power adaptors from other sources such as kensington. Maybe also Belkin. Not sure, do a google search to see what comes up (light power adaptor review).

Call Dell and ask them if you can use a 65W adapter, because there must be some reason why they gave you a 90W adapter, maybe something to do with Penryn. Do you have T8300 processor? Thats the only one which needs a 90W adapter (according to Dell) but dont know the reason why.
