    hello, has anybody here tried to tighten their lcd hinge? If yes, can you please tell me how. If possible with picture please.

    I don't think it's meant to be tightened

    I mean mine it has a gab, but it's flush (wide wise) with the rest of the system (lower part w/ the keyboard)

    My hinge actually broke 2 weeks ago, and the dell tech that came had to take the whole laptop apart just to get to the hinge. It took about 20 mins, and he knew exactly what he was doing.. Its a lot of work.
