Do you have the intel pro Draft N wireless network card or the a/b/g card ??
-
i dont know on the dell site its this one IntelĀ® Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-Card - Europe - Core 2 Duo Processors
-
Its probably 270 MB for wireless LAN , off the net it will be alot less
-
I don't think you'll ever get faster than 130Mbs. I have a Draft N router too an solidly connect at 130Mbs. In my understanding, it's called "Draft" N because the the standard is still being codified. When full N comes out (w/o the draft label) I suspect you'll be able to get even faster speeds.
130Mbs is still faster than a wired (non-GB) connection. -
this is my card according to the device manager http://www.intel.com/network/connectivity/products/wireless/wireless_n/overview.htm
-
130Mbs is what I get in the intel card with a Linksys 300n... my .02c...
-
I never get above 144Mbs with a D-Link Draft N router.

it also says in the connect to networks box in vista radio type 802.11g well aint that meant to say N?
xps m1530 intel next gen wireless n
