Anybody having problems with their touch pad after they've closed and then opened it? My mouse "freaks" out when I open it and I'm unable to use the touchpad for a few minutes.

Not a big deal, it always starts working again after a few minutes. Just annoying.

Anyone else having this issue and why?

Do you have the latest (A08) bios installed? I hear it resolves touch pad issues. Mine came with it, and I never expericed anything odd with the pad.

Yeah, I have a synaptics on my old M140, and it's far nicer than the one on the M1530. I don't have the same issue as the OP, but often it seems as if I'm just routinely tracking across the screen and suddently the pointer leaps across to some other area of the screen. Annoying. Fortunately it happens seldom enough that I can deal with it.

A09 hasn't solved the issue for me. Close it the lid and the touchpad goes crazy
