    hi there

Im going to upgrade my wireless card to the intel 5300 and Im unsure which antennas to connect.

The one currently has only the white and black connected to aux and main. Ive been searching around to try and find the correct connection procedure, but all I can find is that I need to connect black, white, and grey, but to which connections on the card? The new card just has 1,2,3 to connect to, no colour guide.

Which antennas need connecting to which connections on the card?

    in short its this
If the WLAN card has two triangles on the label (white and black), connect the white antenna cable to the connector labeled "main" (white triangle), and connect the black antenna cable to the connector labeled "aux" (black triangle).
If the WLAN card has three triangles on the label (white, black, and gray), connect the white antenna cable to the white triangle, connect the black antenna cable to the black triangle, and connect the gray antenna cable to the gray triangle.
Or to make things even easier connect new card as per old connection and gray wire goes to middle contact.

Ive RTM already and Im still non the wiser

my current wireless card has 2 connecting points, only the black and white connected to "main" and "aux"

the new wireless card has three connecting points labelled 1,2 and 3 ( no colour coded triangles showing where to make the connection)
I have 6 wires and through searching realise which wires I need to connect (black, white, grey) but do not know which wire to connect to which number, hope this clarifies what I mean.

What is so hard in understand this
"Or to make things even easier connect new card as per old connection and gray wire goes to middle contact."
All you have to do is connect the wire as before to you new card and the gray to the middle contact No.3

That's what I recommend - on my 5300 white is connected to #1, gray to #2, and black to #3 (left to right).
