    hi,

I was wondering what factory-installed programs should be uninstalled and what factory-installed processes should be disabled (so that it can have the maximum performance when gaming)?

Everything that you dont think you'll use. Antivirus is #1 on the hitlist. #2 Roxio is also up there with it. #3 would be the trail version of Office 2007. Theres really not all that much useless programs.

Other things you can delete are Dell Support since you'll probably never use it. Keep the Software Installations program just so you can install them whenever you need to.

Rest are just basic folders in the C drive that contain bookmarks and random useless links that you'll probably never use.

I would use Revo Uninstaller. You can use the advanced mode and take out the registry files and other left behind scraps.
