Although it works fine with windows media, the media buttons cannot control my itunes when it's playing music (only when my itunes is minimized).
I can still control the volume of the system just fine, but I just can't control the music with the media buttons provided in the front of the xps m1730...
Does anyone know what I should do, or is it always like this for the m1730?![]()

Download this file. Its a global hotkey plugin.
and unzip it on this location:
C:\Users\your user\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins
Restart iTunes -

Wow, it works! Thanks so much!

If you use winamp (like me), you can just enable Global Hotkeys in the options -

Isn`t it awesome? I just wished the 1730 had touchscreen buttons instead, that would make it even cooler

Thanks, this is genius. No problems at all. I'm using Windows 7 32-bit on an M1530, if that helps anyone.
