My XPS M1730 came with 2 geforce 8800m gtx SLI, and I have force installed the latest Nvidia forceware (175.19 I think). What settings in the Nvidia's Global Settings do you guys recommend? I'm quite a newbie at this, so please do help me out! :) I want to get the best performance out of my dual 8800 gtx when gaming...

Also, I have heard that there is the new version of Bios for this model.. Mine is A06, where can I download the more recent one?

And does anyone have any idea why the power brick is this huge? :(

    1. Have you checked out laptopvideo2go.com ? They have a lot of helpful information there for tweaking your graphics card.

    2. A06 is the latest version. You can always check on this page.

    3. The power brick is huge because that laptop is a beast and demands a lot of power.

First off, download and install Nhancer .
Even at default settings, it helps.
Then..well, Enable SLI, and test games :)

Thanks for all you help, guys!

I was thinking of overclocking my GPU using Nvidia utility I downloaded from the website...

Does anyone know which level for each settings would be the safest and make the most use of this SLI 8800 gtx?
