Dell is willing to replace my existing xps 9560 My question is, should I request for a 9560 instead of the newer 9570?
I'm actually ok with the performance of the 9560 and don't need more cpu power. Also there seems to be more issues I read about with the 9570.
So would it be more prudent to just request for a 9560 if given the choice?

Dell replaced my 9550 that had a myriad of issues over 3 years, with a 9570. I have only undervolted it and had no problems with it in 6 months. I am still on BIOS 1.5 as there are issues on higher ones so if it aint broke, don't fix it. I have my 1050ti disabled as I use an egpu over TB3 > 4K TV. My personal opinion is you should get the newer version as it has better hardware and would be more saleable.

I would go with the newer model as well.
