Today the technician came to replace my Mobo/heatsink to fix the overheating. After reassembling it, the machine seemed to work fine, except that it after seeing the initial startup screens (dell), the screen would go blank b4 right before youd expect to see the desktop. But the OS appeared to stay on. It was like it was told to hibernate or sleep and upon hitting the power button a few times, the desktop would appear and the machine would proceed to work fine. Now this is happening each time its restarted.

The technician ordered a new mobo and will probably be back in a few days, but in the meantime, anyone have any ideas? I have already tried reinstalling the display driver, and checked for suspect startup programs.
