    Hi all,

Newbie from across the pond here. First of all thanks a lot to all you guys. This site was invaluble when i was looking to buy my 1530 6 months ago so you are now my first port of call for advice.

On Friday after many gallons of free beer i stood on my beloved XPS.

I woke up on Saturday and booted her up to find a cracked screen in the lower quarter.

Right, now down to the important stuff. I have stipped her down and identified my screen as the LP154WP1 LG panel. I was wondering if i can upgrade to the 1920 x 1400 LTN154U2-L06 Samsung panel without any othe mods while im changing the screen?

Also, have i got my facts (part numbers )correct?

    Thanks

    Pikey
