    hey guys, im having problems with the dual headphone jacks. they just dont seem to work with both inputs taken. either one set of headphones works or the other, or neither with both plugged in.

    im running win7x64 on my 1640 and have tried it with the newest idt drivers and without, no luck. i've tested out bout input devices in the win7 sound panel and they are both in fine working order but seeing as only one can be set as default, the other does not work simultaneously with media. anyone know how to fix this? thx in advance!

    EDIT

    Fixed =)

    Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem as you since upgrading to windows 7. Tried to contact dell about it but they said hardware was fine and it was the software. How did you fix the problem?
    Thanks
