Your XPS 420 link is broken...but I get around 11,000-12,000 3dMarks with my 8800GT. I think.
I vote for the desktop. -
edited, added specs insted
only reason im getting the xps 1530 is so i can move it around the house abit, its not too slow and looks great
is there going to be a big dif while not gaming?
i got a ps3 for everything but rts games which either should run ok for 3-4 years, right? -
While not gaming...there will be a difference, but not a HUGE one. While gaming though, you'll use the 420 and never want to go back to the 1530. For a 15.4" laptop of its size, the 1530 is a great mild-gaming system, but it'll never replace a desktop for that purpose.
-
I've had laptops much more powerful than the 1530...gaming demands the 420 IMHO.
-
For gaming I'd say go for the XPS 420, or better yet build your own desktop.
-
does the m1530 that i am buying have a LED screen?
-
xps420 or M1530
