    [???] Dell insprion 1520 with Quadro?

    will it work?

    i think it is using same mobo/connector as Dell Precision M6300,

    Dell Precision M6300 ?: FX1600/ 3600

    i think it is just 8400 / 8600 but quadro variance...

    or is there other quadro card i can use in there? i have geforce 8400m...and i can't find any good price on geforce... 8600m

    While the connectors might be the same, the form factors are completely different and you're going to be hard pressed to switch one with the other.

    Short answer: no, it won't work.

    You can't use a GPU in the 1520 except for GPUs that were specifically made for it. So you are limited to the 8400M and the 8600M, and only 8400Ms and 8600Ms made by Dell for the 1520.

    Also the connectors are of different locations. Not to mention the screw positioning as well. And a special heatsink/heatpipe is needed.
