    Hello.

Since yesterday I have a problem with my 3 year old Inspiron 9400.

When I start the notebook, I get horizontal lines on the screen (on the first screen with the dell logo and on the windows boot screen). The lines run in columns and do not change through the screens.
    A bit like this:

    --------------------------------
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ! ---- ---- ----- ---- !
    ---------------------------------

After the windows boot screen, i get a blue screen (also with the horizontal lines) with the error: "NMI: parity Check / Memory parity error"

My question is: is my graphic card (geforce go 7900) broken?

Sounds like it... do the lines show up on an external display as well?
