    They are doing the same in the US. They are already sold at walmarts and now will be at best buys. They wont be old stock, but merely the most popular configurations. (No upgraded screens, etc.)

    In terms of faulty/bad quality gear though, what have been the general standard of the machines passing out of the retail stores? If DSGi take a cut on a boosted spec ordered through them, would that guarantee a higher quality of product than to order direct do you think?

    You'd assume the customer service would be better. It would have to be, a rep. standing two feet in front of you isn't getting away from a disgruntled owner quite so easily as some stranger on a phone! Haha! :)
