    [HELP] Dell//OEM Samsung PM810 / 470 SSD firmware flash? or add Trim?

    I have a Dell variance of PM810 and stupid dell wont provide new firmware with trim! but Samsung retail version of PM810/470 has updated firmware with Trim, can I force flash it? if so how???

    You should be able to force flash it but bear in mind you will void any warranty with Dell.

    I did one on a earlier Dell SSD, but that was a custom mod firmware flash.

    Google it you may get lucky.

    here is the thing, the Samsung firmware require Samsung magician and it does not recognize the Dell OEM as one of its own, so how do I flash it?

    oops I will repost the info here

    The Samsung firmware did work on the 470 series before,

    Also it should already support Trim

    Run CrystakDiskInfo and it should show TRIM on the Features Line
