Hi all, is there a way to control the 'input monitor' volume (in vista 32-bit) with the sigmatel drivers used on the Vostro 1500 or Inspiron 1520?
(input monitoring = audio coming from line in/microphone jack being played live through the speakers)
Also, is there a way to enable stereo mix or an advanced audio control panel?? Right now, there is only one option in the sigmatel audio control panel; to turn on/off "reconfiguration popups"
I saw that Dell just released a new sigmatel driver for XP that enables stereo mixing, but there still isn't one for Vista. Maybe there is a workaround someone knows about?

I too would be really interested in any updates with getting Stereo Mix with Vista using the Sigmatel drivers
Thanks -
I think some of that is down to the way Audio works in Vista now. The audio subsystem is different to XP.
