    So what are you asking really?

    You ordered it on the tuesday the 31st. The order got placed on thursday the 2nd, and on friday the 3rd they started assembling your notebook.

    What seems to be the problem?

    Also, if this somehow doesn't seem right to you, why don't you call/email dell and ask them yourself? We are not dell here, so we cannot answer questions regarding their policies and whether they are right or not.

    You wont get an exact date until the carrier has it. My ESD was the 9th and I got mine on the first.

    Like I said in my first post, we are not Dell Inc., so it would be very hard for us to tell you your estimated delivery date unless someone here is a highly talented psychic.

    thevjm put it perfectly, you get the delivery date when the shipper has it. What you can do is call dell and ask them for the estimated ship date, which they can give you based on how your computer is coming along in the build process. After that, add a couple days in transit and you get ur delivery date that you ask for.
