1.) for windows xp, there is a "DualCore Optimizer" application. Do i need this for Vista? I already changed the "number of processors" in "msconfig" utility.
2.) there are so many drivers available on support.dell.com. for example, do i need "intel matrix storage manager" and "intel turbo memory" when i already installed the "intel chipset" ?
what do I really need?
i don't want to use the dell support-utility (don't want to connect over the internet with them).
3.) how durable is the keyboard? I can remember the Playstation Gamepad, after 2 years the "X"-Button doesn't work anymore -.-
4.) i created 2 "primary partition"s with GParted. Is that right? Because there was another option, "Extended" + "Logical". Just worry coz 2x "primary partition" sounds... wrong -.-
5.) another thing about vista: when i plug off the power supply from the notebook, the performance will be lower. what if I have it plugged in? is the nbook automatically running @ highest performance, or do I have to make changes in windows vista energy options panel?
