    1330 and 1530's 9 cell batteries the same?

    I am looking to give my G/F my 1330, sell my desktop and move to a 1530. Anyways with the sky rocketing prices on batteries, I have a 1330 9 cell that I am wondering will it work on the 1530. They look almost exactly the same. I could try dell, but knowing them they would tell me no just on the basis the part numbers are different. I know their are quite of few people on this forum who own both and might be willing to try. You could even try a 6 cell from a 1330 because if that fits, then the 9 cell will as well.

    They aren't the same.. I have seen both, and they evidently aren't interchangeable.. Haven't tried, though...
