    1420's - what BIOS are you running?

    hey all
    I've gotten two replacements so far... my original 1420 was running the A01 BIOS.. and the two replacements run the A02. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Did they fix something with the A02 BIOS cuz I don't notice anything. THANKS

    I'm running the A00 bios, and I've been constantly searching the dell driver update site for updates, to no avail.

    weird... the A02 bios is out for the 1420... i don't know why they don't have it posted.

    My guess is that unless there were *severe* issues fixed, it isn't worth posting the new bios due to users potentially mangling the bios upgrade.

    A working BIOS is better than creating a lot of unnecessary user headaches and subsequent support issues.
