yea just got off the phone with them, they guy was sayin i should have recieved a call asking if i wanted to continue my order but i never did

 

Back to BUILD for me...

 

This most likely means they're actually building it for real now

Its my first Dell order and am really getting frustated. &

 

My laptop has shipped! I was nervous with the post about bsball3310's order being canceled, so I checked my online status, and it said shipped. I confirmed it with the 800 #. No e-mail notification yet or tracking info. The recording said it was in transit to the carrier.

Ask the CSR for the tracking number. Mine wasn't available so I went onto the online chat and the CSR told me the Carrier and Tracking number for me.

jak2, who was your carrier? I got a DHL tracking number (11 digits) from the CSR, but I guess it's too soon still because the DHL website doesn't recognize it. How long does that usually take?

 

I don't really know, I called this morning to find out my laptop was shipped. It said it was on the way to the carrier, I checked online and the Carrier and the Tracking number were both unavailable. I asked the CSR this afternoon and I checked DHL site with the number she gave me as I was talking to her. You can see my transcript here.

"I have checked the records and see that the display is backordered." The estimate ship date is still Aug 27 on the site and automated order status, I hope it'll come earlier and not delaying it

I got my tracking number now, its just sitting in Nashville...... waiting.... for me to press its buttons

I wasn't aviable when I checked it around 11 am EST. But I just checked it maybe like 10 mins ago ( 2:00 p.m EST) and now I have a tracking number

 

Woot! Finally in boxing. Now the real wait begins..

 

SHIPPED!!!!! Freakin Awesome. Mine went from pre-production on the phone this morning to shipped right now. I'm not sure how that happens, I think the phone system was jacked up for my order, but it says shipped now and I got the email. No tracking number or anything yet, but from what you guys are sayin, sounds like that's on it's way too.

The tracking information is usually on and off.

Some times it is shown and sometimes it says temporary unavailable.

 

Call or chat with Dell. They'll give it to you as soon as the automated system says it's shipped but it won't show up in your online order status until DHL actually has the package since the tracking number is useless until DHL has it.

 

Still waiting for mine... Ordered on the 13th.

 

I have a feeling mine is going to enter boxing on Monday, or are they in production on Sunday too?

 

Raven 322, I had a 1520, T7300, 2GB, 160GB 7200RPM, 8400M, 1440x900, Black, 6 and 9 cell batts, and I ordered 8/6. My ESD was the 23rd, but I guess it's coming sooner, we'll see. Yours should be shipping soon, probably monday by the rate of things right now. They must have found a hidden parts supply

But I got a 1280 * 800 screen. I also got a Core 2 Duo T7500, and when I asked the chat, the person told me no delays on this stuff.

Don't listen to her, I had the exact same dell rep and she told me the same thing like a week ago. My stuff has gone to testing and boxing in that time

 

Woot the online CSR changed my shipping to next day shipping !

 

Have hope. Went from Boxing to Shipped in less than 2 days. Life is good once again!

 

The exhaust port on the left side of the 1520 makes for a great hand warmer. There is very little bloatware on my machine (special request) and I don't think I'll even need to reformat. Everyone in production/boxing should try and relax, you'll have yours soon.
