    Hey all

I was just wondering if my cpu temps are too high. I have searched the forum but havent found a conclusive answer. During gaming (such as wow) my cpu temp goes up to 78 degrees celcius, one time over 80. tested with both NHC and 18kfangui, is this bad for my computer?

That is not too high, and nothing is wrong. Laptop processors are made to be able to withstand high temperatures.

One thing you can do to help elevate these temperatures is to get a note book cooler that raises the laptop off of the desktop surface and have a fan blowing on the bottom the laptop. These usually work really well in cooling a laptop especially in a gaming environment.

Two other things you can do

    1. Download RMClock and lower the voltages for each of the different multipliers. Most of the T7300 and T7500's can be undervolted quite a bit.

2.While easy, I do not recommend unless you fully understand what you are doing. Adding some AS5 will help bring down temps a bit more and you should notice your fans coming on less. :)

Thermal paste that you put on the processor's core. Helps with heat transfer to the heatpipe.
