    3-5 day shipping on Dell

    Hi

    Does anyone know who the carrier is for 3-5 day shipping with Dell? Is it a courier or just USPS, or ...?

    (you'd think I could find that somewhere on dell.com but certainly couldn't!)

    Its usually UPS for delivery... FedEx or DHL if you need to do any returns/exchanges. Also, they ship from Tenn, so if your in the midwest (im in st. Louis) its usually a 1 day ship... works great for me... never have to pay for next day to get it.

    Mine actually shipped from Utah (to NE Kansas).

    Combine that with the weekend/Easter and my 3-5 day shipping is pushing a week.

    Thanks all, I'm on the west coast so probably closer to the 5 days. But, I'm not too worried about it, just wanted to make sure it wasn't coming by regular mail so that I'd be able to track it, etc.

    I'm on the west coast too, and while tracking via the UPS site it says Origin Scan in PATRICK, NV.

    I had to ask customer service for my UPS tracking number. This is the one problem I see with their shipping documentation.

    I'm in Nevada, the last laptop I bought from Dell was in December of last year with the 3-5 day shipping option. I think it was sent from Texas, I recieved the email notice from Dell that it shipped on the exact day it actually shipped out. They said it would be 2-3 days to get to me, but it was at my house the very next day (UPS). I was kind of suprised at just how fast it actually came, especially considering it was being sent during the heart of the christmas rush season.

    I can't say for sure now, but I thought they had sent me a tracking number in that email notification, not that it would have mattered though since it was here the next day despite being sent 3-5 days.

    Got mine yesterday! Shipped out Friday morning, received Monday morning, even with Easter. From Nevada to Utah, so not too far to go.

    So far, so good with it. Hope you all get yours soon!

    How did you order yours gosman? I did mine online, so I got e-mails every step of the way, including an e-mail with my UPS tracking number.

    I ordered mine by phone with the EPP sales guy. That is probably why I did not get the tracking info on my email confirming shipping.
