For the inspiron 1520 I've read some estimation of about 5hour of battery life on the 9 cell. However I haven't found anything on the 6 cell. Anyone tested it yet? How good/bad is it?

And a mega noob question: If I buy a notebook with the 6cell and a 9cell as a secondary battery, it's the same as if I bought the 9cell with the 6cell as the secondary one right?

Hi Anthony, I have heard rumblings of about 2-3hours of normal usage with the 6 cell, though thats just from what ive heard :S .... and regarding the second half of your post. You're correct, it would be the same.

By the way, no computer question is "too newbish" :)

    Hope that helps.
