    HI all, I am considering buying the 15020 inspiron, but i want to have the biggest battery i can. But I am afraid the 9cell battery is too big...

    HOw do you guys feel about this battery size? Does it botther to use? HOw big is it?

    It doesn't stick out if that's what you mean. But the battery is heavier.

    UPDATE: I just asked a Dell rep and he said it weights the same as the 6 cell.

    While I haven't used a 9-cell battery on an inspiron, I can say that it most likely isn't too big. I have a latitude d420 with a 9-cell battery and it is perfectly practical.
