    I know there are various clean install/driver guides, but none have helped me in this regard.

    Which drivers should I use off the driver CD and which should I go and download?

    How many of them are there anyways?

    As you've stated you've already looked at various guides, you may have already seen this one, but I thought I'd pass it on just in case:

    Dell Laptop Vista Reformat To Remove Bloatware -simplified!!!

    It has a section in the middle that talks about the drivers you'll need from the CD and how to tell the ones you need to download. I hope that helps. If you've already seen that thread, I apologize for wasting your time.

    Yeah, I've read it. :p

    It's just that while I know I'd rather download the nVidia driver than use the one on the CD, I'm not sure about the fingerprint reader, bluetooth, network, etc. I don't know which drivers have been updated from the ones on the driver disc.
