I've been getting that "system is undergoing routine maintenance" thing for a while.. I'm not sure what it's all about, I mean, I haven't noticed anything different when I check my order status..

I guess we don't really know if it's updating... It hasn't done to me what it has to you... I mean, the weirdest thing it's done is for about three or four days after a got a call about my order being delayed until 8-28, online it continued to show my order to ship on 7-31.. And I think it's been about two weeks since I started seeing that message..

I just skimmed all the other posts on this thread so i don't know exactly what you all are talking about but to answer the OP... I get that message every time I sign onto dell.com! I also clear my cookies every time I close mozilla. I don't know what it is but I've been geting that message for over a month.

Yeah, I've been getting that message for about 9-10 days now....my shipping date did update though (to the 28th)....so i hope that doesn't mean my order is stuck or anything....that doesn't mean it right? My order isn't just sitting there (i.e. not being started...I know Dell doesn't start building until all parts are present)....

    Thnx.......
