I installed the A10 Bios and since then my finger print reader does not work or even come up as an option on startup. In addition my automatic hibernate/ sleep functions seem to have stopped working. Any ideas or comments?

I am OK with the new BIOS but I admit I don't use any of the functions you have mentioned. I am sure others will chime in with their experiences.

I've updated to A10 bios, no problems so far..

A friend of mine and myself have updated to A10 without any issues with the fingerprint reader and hibernation/sleep. I hope it fixes my BSOD with my Intel wifi even though it's supposed to fix the Dell Truemobile.

updated to A10, no problems + repaired freeze bug while ejecting cd

Me too, this has been annoying me more and more recently. It never used to cause me any problems...

just try my Fn key.... it wont work
im sure its work before i installed Bios A10
Edit.... fn keys works... only sleep button changes from fn+f1 to fn+esc -
the BIOS version really affect the performance? or just fix problems?

I upgraded with no issues...

My Fn key works and I also noticed that the M1330 will not longer pause / freeze when inserting or ejecting a CD! Nothing negative yet. Thanks Dell.
The only recent thing I have noticed (not BIOS related) is that my power cord is not showing as a Dell 65w power cord sometimes. This is probably due to cable deterioration as rotating it fixes it sometimes. Dell has sent me another cable to resolve this. Thanks again Dell! -
I am not sure it is due to cable deterioration, as my upgrade to the A10 firmware has resulted in continuous BIOS errors during booting of the system. The error reads that my (90W) power adapter/cable is not recognised - whereas (as is stated) a minimum of 65W adapter is required. I can continue boot up and also select to hide this message in the future, but I still suspect the problem relates to the A10 firmware.
Anyone had problems with 1330 A10 BIOS?
