    Are Studios (specifically 15) still delayed?

    I'm going to preface this thread with this fact: I'm impatient. I'm VERY impatient.

    That said, my Studio 15 is currently in build status, as of this morning. The estimated ship date is this Friday. I'm worried that day will come, and go, with a delayed message.

    So, does anyone know if these systems are still experiencing any delays, or am I TOO impatient? ;)

    It is impossible to tell whether your computer will be delayed, and even if Dell is currently experiencing delays, it doesn't mean anything. Delays are a potential problem with every laptop manufacturer out there. Just wait.

    Nothing has been mentioned of delays...in fact they are selling well at the outlet...Why not spend some of that time checking out YouTube vids or something, look at/future accessories...Doing things to keep your mind off of the wait...I know it's hard. I was really anxious when waiting for my 1530 to be shipped to me:

    I'm actually in the US.

    Cin', I've been reading that thread for a couple of days now, :) Thanks! However, it's still telling me it's in the "build" stage, but my estimated ship date is today. According to the thread, it'll be in the boxing stage for some time, before it ships.

    I have low hopes of it actually shipping today. I just wish I knew which option might be delaying the shipment. :/


    ETA: Got the order delayed message. New estimated ship date is Nov. 7. Now I'm wondering what in the world I picked that's causing the delay. Some Internet searches mentioned the vid card, but *shrug*. Just wish I knew.

    SHIPPED! Not sure when it'll get here...no tracking number yet.

    One odd thing...the estimated delivery date is Saturday. Thought Dell didn't ship on Saturday.

    I wonder if that means they've officially dropped DHL and have gone with FedEx..curious. I'll let ya'll know. :)

    Yes...this is very exciting news for you! :D There is no tracking number yet, possibly because it hasn't been scanned into the Carrier's system :)

    You, can call Dell..and they can give this to you...I requested this from the Rep, when I was in the same position..and they were able to give it to me :D

    A Saturday delivery, would be very good indeed...who know's maybe they did switch carrier's! ;)

    I'm very impatient too... I ordered my studio 17 on 11/28 and I'm really nervous reading about all these delays. Will I get the infamous "Order delayed" message...? :confused2: It's in build right now. Estimated ship date is 12/9 :eek:
