How big may the battery difference be between a 1440x900WLED and 1920x1200(not LED)?

I've read it's not that much significant power savings. I'm waiting of the OLED screens to appear and bypass the LEDs altogether.

You'll be waiting a very very long time and it will be super high if and when it comes out. Current OLED panels are extremely expensive to make such as that 9 inch Sony TV one for $2k I believe.

Yes OLED are expensive.. for now but I believe Panasonic is in development to compete with LCD HDTV and is due next year. With mass production the price will come down.. maybe two years after introduction just like the present LCD HDTV which is now more affordable.
