Is there anybody else here in boxing since monday or even tuesday? Has anyone else here ever experienced a long boxing wait in the past? I've been in boxing since monday and I'm flipping out over here.
-
Yes that seems to be quite common. In the M1330 threads we are speculating that boxing includes boxing the system in Malaysia, and then shipping that to your home country. Then you change to shipping when you system has been processed and shipped from there.
Just guessing, but this is the best explanation we could come up with on why it would take a week to box a computer. -
I went into boxing on the 14th...received my lappy on the 17th. I would call and see what is up
-
Tried that, but you know dell. They still see it as "in production" and they just repeat **** over again like "the estimated shipping date is the 28th". They don't even recognize the fact that it's in boxing. hey at least I got a $100 worth of compensation last night.
-
mines been boxing since wednesday and they say it wont ship till monday so thats five days too
-
so does the status ever change to "shipped" over the weekend or do I have to wait till monday?
-
thats what im wondering too I dont if they ship on the weekend
-
cus if it ships on the weekend then I'll get it on monday.
-
i've read in the forums that they do indeed ship on weekends. they give your package to DHL which ships on weekends.
-
My system shipped on a Sunday via DHL Ground, and I got it Monday afternoon.
-
Mine got shipped yesterday through DHL Express Ground but since DHL wont deliver it on weekends, I have to wait till Monday.
-
When it gets to the boxing stage, does that mean it's all together and getting boxed overseas? I entered the boxing stage yesterday after a month. I sure hope it's coming soon.
-
Mine has been in boxing since monday and I spoke to a csr on friday about it taking so long and he said the phone system is wrong, and when i called today, it said build again
-
That's brutal.
-
I keep calling, but it still says boxing for me. i hate dell.
-
at least it still says boxing. when it said "boxing" for me, I at least had some hope that it was coming soon. I was so mad when it started saying "build" again. So mad. I can't believe this.
-
Would that mean your cargo plane crashed or something?
-
ahaah i guess at this point, anything is possible. I wouldn't rule it out.
-
either that or the monster from the 1/18/08 trailer got the plane and the government is covering it up
if you haven't seen the trailer, here it is http://youtube.com/watch?v=ceXDy1pJ4k4 -
Does the phone status still give you all an estimated ship date? Maybe the automated number is truly incorrect right now.
-
yeah at the end, sometimes it tells you and other times it donest
-
lol yea I remember seeing that trailer when I watched Transformers and just being utterly confused by it.
-
well hate to break some bad news, but a china air planes left engine exploded and caught on fire

But it was a passenger plane, not a cargo plane =) -

LMAO, I saw the same article on MSN.com, and when I saw the plane was from Taipei, I almost died laughing and thought about making the same post there.....BIG rep.
Farelli, any luck? I can't believe it's not in your hands yet! That's ridiculous. -
I suspect that people with expediated shipping stay in the boxing stage longer, so appear as though the shipping process takes less time than in reality.
Boxing for more than 5 days!?
