I've been on hold for just over half an hour now to just check the status of my order.
This is crazy.
Can I get something?
-
-
why dont u check online
-
Smiles are free.
-
The irony is that I was calling to get the order number so I can check it online. Haha.
-
you should already have the order number / customer number from when you purchased the machine
-
your order number would have been emailed to you if purchased online or given on the phone if purchased on the phone. If I were them I wouldn't give ya a thing for free. They aren't a cell phone company.
-
lol but i would like to kno if they ever do give free things (other then good deals)
-
nope, i tried getting a snap cover for free, then i tried just getting a % off accessories coupon, they wouldn't budge.
-
thats because they really are the cheapest in price. Thats why spo many people buy dells.
-
Jeff! Did you get your E1505 yet? I changed my mind and now I am going with a E1705! AH! =)
-
E1705 is a big laptop, don't buy it if you're serious about taking it outside your home.
-
yikes the e 1705 is big.
-
Yes I've waited for 40 minutes but so what? I got "Sorry" that's all.
If my experience is not liable for any compensation, according to most people in this forum, then definitely you don't deserve one.
dL -
30-40 minutes on hold? That's all? Have you ever used customer service for anything else before? I've waited on hold for over two hours before. Yes, I was irrate, but I didn't expect compensation just because they're busy.
-
you get to listen to their music on your phone or on your stero speakers for 30 min
thats a pretty good deal -
man thats normal for hold times these days, get speakerphone. thats what i got. I put it on speaker and wait till i hear the dial or the persons voice. way easier
-
the dell nylon carrying case for 50 bucks wasn't available when i did my order...through reading this forum ive noticed that dell gives alot of free stuff away like its nothing....think i could somehow get this case if i called up? all you people who got free backpacks and CD's have any advice? im a cheapo
-
im not trying to be mean or anything, but are you ****ing retarded? you waited half an hour on the status of your order? let me tell you something:it will arrive sometime next week. and you can check online too. it takes like what? a minute?
-
Why don't you try logging in to the Dell website or just your e-mail. Dell has no reason to give you anything for free.
They got them because they ordered their Notebooks in July when there was a promotion to get the backpack for free with an Inspiron order. If you didn't order one in July then you don't qualify. -
Not yet, supposed to arrive the 18th, seems like forever. And i did end up getting the leather snap cover
The E1705 is nice, to big for me though, i had a 9300 before my current E1505 and sold it because it was to heavy and big to carry to school, but it makes a very kick ass desktop replacement.
-
We're all waiting for Dell... ever since I got a red card here, I've learned to be patient
dL -
jeff, just out of curiosity, why are you ordering another e1505? when did you get your last one? it still looks like it has a decent configuration.
-
ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
I'm getting a free wireless mouse. Though I think I might be charged on it.
-
About 2 months ago, lol. I'm not satisfied with the XGA - has a bland color, and i figured why not upgrade to CD2
-
are u like really rich or something??? lol...seems like u just buy whatever the heck u feel like buying, whether u have one already or if you dont need it or whatever...u just buy it
-
In my experience Dell have caved quite easilly about free stuff..
They did lose my XPS but they agreed to upgrade the processor and give me a spare battery & AC adapter, and a 944 printer/scanner thing with a wireless print server gadget.. Not too bad but its been a ****ty 4-5 weeks trying to get them to do things.. -
I wish. If i was rich i wouldn't be buying Dell, i would have an Asus W3J
I sell my old laptops for around what i got them for, people on Ebay don't research much, so really between these 2 E1505's, i only lost about $100 dollars.
-
oh just pay for your stuff, don't try to get so much for free
-
ya i agree with outkastland >.<
Can I talk them into something free?
