So I just placed my order earlier today because I thought today would be the last day for the $300 off $1299 or more. Well Dell just came out with new coupons for the same discount apparently, and I'd like to be able to use the free tax weekend here that starts Friday. Do I get charged anything at all for canceling my order?
-
-
Nope. Nothing, just contact Customer Care
-
Dell does not charge you untill your order is shipped
-
I forgot to mention it was put on my Dell Preferred Account, so I didn't know if that would make a difference or not?
-
it doesn't -
how are notebooks tax free??
-
They are only Tax free in I think like 2 states

South Carolina has a tax free weekend starting on Friday for everyone going back to school. Saves me a little extra ontop of the coupon, which is nice. Now I'm trying to read up about how to get a free remote out of them as well. I feel a little like a vulture.

There are limits and I don't think laptops count

I am so glad I saw this thread. I forgot about the tax free weekend here in NC Aug 3-5...i'm on hold right now to cancel my order to save me $56!
In NC computer purchases count on the tax free weekend -
Anything that could remotely be linked to going back to school counts. Computers definitely count and that includes laptops as well. I even think cars count, but I'd have to check on that one.
-
In MO, laptops count towards tax free also.
-
I haven't found any state where cars count, and I just bought a new Jetta so believe me, I checked Missouri thoroughly!
-
glad that I could help ! you can rep me if you want
