look under the battery
-
-
No the best spot in on the memory slot. Its very simple to do.
-
Revision label is also on the underside on a bar code label in white
-
the memory slot is the the simplest
-
how is it simpler when you have to get a screw driver remove all the screws etc remove ram. compared to ejecting the battery with a press of one button ???
-
Well just looking on the under side for a label is all to much these days....
Has any one got the part number for the screwdriver please?
Just kidding. -
My label states CN-0U8042-... Rev A01 which matches the "serial No." as reported by SiSoft's SANDRA.
Anyone know how many revisions of the M1330's mobo are out there and, what the major differences are?
I'm still hoping that I will be able to swap out the processor for a Penryn someday...
-
Dell is up to A04 for there motherboard on the 1330.
-
God I'm glad I saw this as I looked under my
batter and it said A00.
and I just got the damn thing.. so I think send it back, it's old.
or no? -
Actually under the battery it says a00 and
On the label on the bottom it says revision A04.
hmmm -
Don't trust the the stickers. If your system is making a whine, get it replaced. If not then don't worry about your revision.
Check revision type of M!330 mobo without taking comp apart
