    >>the blue light went off, but the Wi-Fi light still stay on

hmmmm.... not sure I understand very well.....

    >>Better be doing your defrag at least once a week

I'm running PageDefrag from sysinternals (now MS) and it helps a lot with boot times as well...

Play with it. If you need more help, and you cant get it to work for your BT, let me know and I will write it out in grate detail.

I use Perfect Disk. I like to do the offline defrag. Somehow the process grab onto some files.

For flush toilet clean out, now I am using Advance System Optimizer.

    Have you eat burgers lately?

I guess I'll have to play around with it and see what's happening...

I agree that MS' built-in defragger is not the best but the software you quoted seems not-free, there's only a 30-day eval...?

Hey chong67, I played with the latest version of quicket and there's no way around it: when I use the slider on the right of the laptop, it does disable the blue light but it also disables bluetooth altogether, I instantly loose BT connection to my htc touch etc

How do you manage to disable the blue light without disabling bluetooth?

Isnt blue light also bluetooth? Disable blue light doesnt disable bluetooth?

So flipping it off doesnt turn off bluetooth? I know my task bar turn off from light blue to grey.

Right now I having a hard time pairing my HTC Mogul, your distant cousin to Touch.

I already put my Mogul in discovery mode. Put my passcode on my laptop first, then I see the passcode prompt on my Mogul and enter the code and after I hit NEXT, my laptop screen up pop up and say:

" Connection from [MyName] has been denied."

You know what I did wrong?

Defrag once a week?! Once every 4 to 6 months is more like it.

Then again, I don't have a 4200 rpm drive. But once a week still sounds really excessive. I don't think the drive would get fragmented that fast under normal use.

Did you get your D430 to pair to your Touch?

I still cant get it to talk to my Mogul.

I can get it to pair with my BT headphone and it works great.

No mood for burgers now until I get it to pair it my Mogul.

Don't know about your phone but the trick is to have ActiveSync (version 4.5.0 in my case) use a particular COM port, the same COM port that the Touch uses to pair with the D430.

In my case they're both thinking that they're using COM port 7, I'm not a BT guru but I suspect that there's some kind of emulation of COM ports over BT.

Now that I remember I tried a few times before nailing it down, but never had to touch it since.

Good luck, we don't want you to go into a burger-hunger-strike!!! :)

I just want it to paired up.

You mean pairing up is using ActiveSync?

On your Touch, did you have to Open any ports under the COM tab?

    Yah, burger stike now.
