    DHL shipping - how long?

    Dell shipped my Vostro 1500 DHL yesterday. I got the DHL tracking # and it shows picked up.

    When they ship DHL is it regular 3-5 days or overnight / 2 day shipping?

    Is DHL the norm for U.S. shipments? :confused:

    Mine is going out today as well. It's DHL EXPRESS GROUND. It will arrive Monday, 1/14/2008.

    I am in FL, and the package is coming from TN.

    I just chatted online with DHL and they gave me much more info than what the web page gave me. They said it would be delivered by eod 1/11 ! :) ... It shipped yesterday, 1/9.... so 2 day delivery

    Mine says it was sent out yesterday, but it doesn't seem so. I need to call DHL and find out. Their website may be out of wack, or lagging in information.

    I too just contacted DHL. They stated that my shipment was sent out ground. The rep also said that tracking info usually is not available for ground shipments.. which kinda blows.

    My shipment was sent out yesterday from TN. DOD from DHL is 1/14 in VT.

    Note to self on next purchase: ask for UPS or FedEx.

    Yeah, mine is showing up on Monday as well. :)

    Edit: Mine was shipped out 1/10/08, and is already on the DHL vehicle for delivery.. That's with ground shipping!

    Update...

    Mines arrived this a.m. at ten'ish... so one of the first DHL stops. They shipped it Wed, so 2 day delivery... I love DHL !!! LOL

    p.s. I haven't opened the box, so let's hope they didn't smash it while delivering it, LOL

    Tell me how much you love DHL this afternoon when you track the order and it says "Delivery attempted, no one was home", but you were there the whole time.

    :) I love DHL.... I made sure someone was at the address to sign. Realize, they are not going to leave a laptop without a signature... :D

    My Vostro 1500 looks great !

    I'm glad it worked out good for you. Many users have posted that DHL has claimed no one was home, even when someone was there.
