Which one is better in terms of performance?

    Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/g Wi-Fi Mini Card [add $10]
    OR
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Wi-Fi Mini Card [add $29]

I hear the intel is better because of frequent driver updates. But, given that I rarely bother upgrading my drivers, is it still worth the extra $29?

The Intel has been reported to work better in almost all situations, whereas the Dell sometimes fails to perform. Still, good enough for me. Should be good enough for you too.
