This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Dell Canada - No longer offers fingerprint reader?!

    I was checking out building my laptop to see how it looks today and they don't have the fingerprint option anymore...

    It'll probably be back soon.. or maybe you can get a rep to add it back on.. options seem to just come and go as they please on dell.ca. It's pretty annoying. lol

    I hope theere aren't problems with the fingerprint readers though!!

    Indeed. I spoke to an online rep by the name of Phillip and he added it back for me. He said by 12:30 est timing the option will be back.

    Which kind of notebook as a finger print? I was looking at the new inspiron on Dell US and they don't have fingerprint...and I will like to have it.
