    Dell I6000D Dvd Rw drive Driver Question

    I was poking around and saw that the drive is a Nec 6500A but when searching for drivers on the site they list the 6000 as having a Nec 5100 or something.

    I was wondering why there's a difference here. The 5100 is a 4x drive and mine is a 8x drive.

    Any help would be helpful.
