    I've searched the forum and chatted with Dell, but I have not found any answer to my question. Will any Dell laptop(s) with the Montevina Platform be released in Summer 2008?

    More than likely, but nobody knows for sure. Possibly fall 2008.

    Even that's hopeful. I would look more around September - October. My guess is it won't be during the summer because they don't want to give the "back to school sales" to their brand new Montevina laptops. Probably going to drop the prices of the XPS right before the refresh.

    I hope not... I'm waiting for Montevina to come out so I can get it for university... releasing new things AFTER the month of high sales is just stupid.

    blame intel. they won't release montevina until july-august, so you won't have a laptop in your hand til at LEAST august-september.
