Dell Studio 15 Pics, Specs, and Performance?

Does anyone here own a Dell Studio 15? If so, Could you post some pics of it, your specs, and How well it performs with those specs.

 

I doubt anyone who's ordered a studio has received it yet since it only came out a week ago.

 

Mine should arrive on 14th July at the very latest. I'll post some sort of review then.

 

I ordered mine on June 27th. It's been shipped, will arrive on Tuesday July 8th.

Will post pics when I receive it.

Mine is due on 12th July,B.T.W. can any body tell me how do I connect the HDMI port to the Svideo port of my regular TV.??

I ordered mine in Graphite Grey with the intent to repaint it. The other shells were matte finish.

I might paint it as soon as it gets here since my car is going into the shop this week.

 

I got mine in the jet black as I wasn't prepared to pay £30 ($60!) extra for a different paint job on my computer.

I reordered my jet black Studio 15 (due to confusion with the backlit keyboard) on 1/7/08. As of today it’s still in this rather annoying Phase 2 called ‘Pre Production’. It’s probably been almost 3 years since I ordered a pc from Dell as I have being using desktops I have built meself for a while. Dell seems to have really changed. Anything I used to order back then be it desktop or laptop usually arrived at my door no more than 5 days after clicking confirm order. Now it seems that this pre production wait is the norm. Very disappointing. Much longer and I am going to cancel and buy a HP etc.

 

Hi everyone - I ordered mine June 30th, and its been in "Production" since July 1st. I guess they may not even have some of the parts for my configuration. I am also the type of person who looks at the order status a lot throughout the day

I got mine in plum purple, I may end up getting a skin to go over it through, the place I got my iPod skin has the laptop version... I am just waiting to get it and confirm the measurements

My Studio 15 just arrived!!!!!!!!! It's BEAUTIFUL! It's still very slim in my opinion. Very sturdy! The Graphite finish is amazing, I have to reconsider my idea of painting it.

My questions so far, if you would be so kind to answer:

- How is the SOUND of the notebook? Is there an integrated Mini-Subwoofer perhaps? Or does music sound like out of a can?

- If you close the notebook, is there a closing lock? Like a "snap" or something?
I mean to prevent it to open itself (in a bag or something)

- How far can you open the notebook? Pics?

- Where is the fan and in which direction the air goes out?

The look and feel, and also the technical arragangements are very important for me - and i want to order a Studio 15 also, so if you could send me as many many pics as you can, i would be sooooo glad and thankful

I'm checking the internet like every few minutes to see pictures from the Dell Studio 15 from users who buyed it...
