    SW = software.

    Unless you can see it printed on your order confirmation or any other literature, you will just have to wait. Dell will buy whichever is cheapest and within spec, so there is really no way of knowing until you get it.

    just opened my 1555.

    the screen flickers black when download windows appear as well as flickers black when booting up.

    is this normal??

    Nope, 6 cell would seem to be standard as you can always upgrade to the 9...

    Anyone know if you get a sleeve of any sort with a new dell standard? or any other "goodies"? I should be receiving my new notebook sometime in a week or so and would like to have a case/sleeve combo day one...

    i get around 5 hours with the 9 cell but its mainly because i undervolt the cpu.

    I can hit 6 hours with my 9 cell, and 2:30 with my 6 cell (expected, because the 6 cell is several months older than the 9).
