    Dell Vostro Build Quality?

    For those who have done research or who own Dell Vostros, how is the build quality? It seems that a 15.4 inch laptop with 8600GT and Duo 2 Core 1.6GHz processor for less than $900 is a bit unreal. How does it compare to Inspirons? How does it compare to HPs?

    its essentially an all black inspiron 1520...id say the build quality is the exact same is inspiron.

    If I build an Inspiron 1520 with the same specs as the Vostro 1500, the price would be $400-500 (without coupons)... any idea why?

    Is this not the only thread that ONLY talks about Vostro build quality? There's 1 other one that talks about Inspiron, Vostro, and Latitude, and most people seem to be talking what Latitudes are made out of instead of how good Vostros are.

    There are other threads. The truth is no really knows much about the build quality because no one has their Vostro yet. It could be a tank compared to inspiron or it could be the same thing in black.
