    Dell Vostro Screen with Grayish Vertical LIne

    Hi,
    I just noticed from my Dell 1400 that whenever I changed the background to black, and you are viewing from the left side, you will see two vertical grayish line around an inch in the left side and middle side of the screen. But if you are looking at the right side, you wont see those line and also in front.

    I compared it to another vostro, and the other vostro doesnt have that. Can I return this to Dell? How do they deal with these kind of problems?

    Haha Goodluck.

    So.. I actually originally had a AUO and it was crazy grainy, so then they sent me an SEC. SEC is fantastic! Except for those lines. Almost looks like ghosting on a crt. So then they sent me another SEC LCD (refurbished) and it was really jacked up. So now Im awaiting another one brand new from their plant in Malaysia. I swear if this one has ANY issues at all, Im returning this laptop completely.

    But FYI, I couldnt see the bars from the right side either. I think its the reflective coating on the top.
