    Dell Vostro with W'98???

    Hi,
    I got V13 from work and trying to put new hdd and don't see any W COA sticker on the back, I checked dell www and see it listed with W'98 on System Information page (tag h010l41).

    I can't read old hard drive (broken), anybody can suggest how to find and install legal OS (I hope it's W7), this laptop already out of warranty. I don't think that laptop can have W98.

    Yes the Vostro V13 should either came with Vista or Windows 7. You'll need a Dell Vista or 7 and it should activate just fine. You can order it online.
