This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell Windows 10 upgrade compatibility

    FYI, Dell has published a list of computers that they've confirmed compatibility with Windows 10.

    From what it looks like the list goes back about three years.

    The driver pages don't seem to have been updated with Windows 10 drivers (yet?). My guess is that 8.1 drivers are good enough for the initial install, and then Windows Update will clean things up afterwards.

    D620 Is working fine with W10 (Intel GMA)

    Latitude D630/D830 (Intel 965) work great.

    Haven't tried on the E6400 I have kicking around, but no reason to believe it wouldn't either.
