While I'm waiting through the purgatory that is "Build Stage" for my 1520, I thought I'd ask for some feedback on this card. I currently use Sprint's EVDO service via a PC Card on my aged Inspiron 8100. It works great. I'm looking forward to rev. A and a nice built in card (probably on backorder). I'm wondering if with an existing Sprint data account they will want to charge me all kinds of extra fees for transferring to the new setup. Does anybody know? Thanks!

i work for sprint
you've got nothing to worry about..all you'll be doing is an ESN swap which doesnt alter your contract in any way -
I've heard reports that it resets your phone upgrade count thing (every 2 years you get an upgrade) each time you perform an ESN swap. Not sure though...

it does. and it pisses me off. cause i had to pay full price for my last two phones even though sprint hadn't pd for one in like 4 years because I added different things to my plan.

Thanks for the info guys. Even though it's such a small thing, I'm looking foward to NOT having to put in my Sprint card when I arrive at work and removing it when I leave. Then there's the wifi card I have to insert at home!
I will be free of plugging! -
